In a throwback interview, Salman Khan talked about his stay in jail and how he spent his time. Salman’s bail plea has been reserved for Saturday Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who was sentenced to five years’ jail term in the 20-year-old blackbuck case, was prisoner No. 106 in Jodhpur Central Jail on Thursday night and was lodged in the barrack next to Asaram Bapu’s. With his bail plea reserved for Saturday, he is expected to stay in jail for another night at least. The actor ate a simple dinner of dal, sabzi and chapatis served in the jail and slept on floor. He refused breakfast on Friday morning. His only question was about the toilet in his barrack and if there was a geyser. This is the fourth time Salman spent time in this jail. Largest earthquake in several years shakes Southern California, causing landslides on Santa Cruz Island

Southern California was rattled Thursday by a magnitude 5.3 earthquake that struck near the Channel Islands. The quake was the strongest in Southern California in several years, jangling some nerves but causing no major damage because it occurred offshore in the Pacific Ocean and not on land. The quake did cause some minor landslides and earth movement on Santa Cruz Island, which was close to the epicenter, and rattled a bald eagle whose livestreamed reaction to thetemblor went viral. "A 5.3 could be damaging if it was right under our feet," said John Vidale, director of the Southern California Earthquake Center at USC. "It's right on the edge of being an earthquake that could be dangerous. It's a reminder that we need to be ready in the future."
